Welcome to the The University of Western Ontario Economics Students’ Association. The ESA is a ratified student organization composed of those who wish to further their knowledge in the fields of business, economics, and politics. The ESA stands to add value to student life by:

• • Promoting economic awareness through the organization’s publication, The Economic Outlook.

• • Assisting students with their academic endeavours by providing access to a database of invaluable academic materials and running occasional study sessions.

• • Inviting distinguished speakers to the Western campus; in the past topics have included Canada’s place on the global economic stage, the recent recession, and value investing.

• • Organizing socials to further integrate economics students into extra-curricular student life.

We believe that these initiatives acting in concert allow students to fully put their skills to work and unleash their academic and non-academic potential. The ESA is a strong advocate of student involvement, and we urge that students try to get the most out of their membership by interacting with the executive committee.
