The Economic Outlook

The Economic Outlook was created in 2008 to heighten the Western community’s level of economic awareness and understanding through the provision of a high-quality newspaper that blends firsthand analysis with secondary reporting. By distributing a cross campus newspaper that explains the causes, consequences and values of major economic, financial and political movements worldwide, the ESA hopes to provide a unique learning experience to its readers and increase the economic awareness of the student body.

The Economic Outlook is the only club publication authorized for distribution across the UWO campus. Issues and articles are posted online, as well as distributed to all ESA members via email. For the 2010-2011 academic year, the ESA plans to distribute printed copies of various issues across campus. The Economic Outlook is written and produced solely by the ESA’s analyst team and members of the executive.

Archived editions of The Economic Outlook can be found in our knowledge base. However, you can find select issues of our newsletter below.
